The Winona State University Foundation

The WSU Foundation exists to foster and support the advancement of Winona State University, and through its work on behalf of the institution, to benefit a multi-faceted and diverse population of individuals and groups. In order to accomplish this, the University Advancement Office works closely with the Foundation and its Board of Trustees. Members of the Board of Trustees are enthusiastic supporters of Winona in both their advocacy and philanthropy.

The Foundation's programs include:

1. Scholarships - endowed scholarships, program specific scholarships, and new student scholarships
2. Special Project Grants to meet unique needs of faculty and departmental programming
3. WSU Institutional Support for needs such as maintaining the University's technology infrastructure
4. Faculty and student research projects
5. Foundation Administration/Operations
6. Other needs as they arise
