A variety of research projects were funded during the years of study leading up to the implementation of L-21.  There were challenge grants in 2004 and 2005.  There were Phase II awards made in 2006.  And there were Round 3 awards made in 2007.  The awards made in later years, particularly in Round 3, focused on research projects, especially those involving both faculty and students.  A list of some of those projects follows.
