Updating the MnSCU Individuals with Disabilities Reference Guide

	Preparing recommendations for updating the MnSCU Disabilities Reference Guide was a project undertaken in consultation with MnSCU. The original MnSCU Guide was written by attorneys and distributed in 1988 and MnSCU wanted to develop a more user-friendly and up-to-date tool for use statewide. The Project Director contacted 32 disabilities coordinators for input on current Guide usage and to identify "best practices" that could be incorporated into the revised Guide. Recommendations for changes and additions were submitted to Dr. Steve Frantz, MnSCU System Director for Student Affairs.
