Measuring Information Technology Use at WSU |
|---|
![]() |
In the first phase of this SIA study, WSU participated in a University of Wisconsin-Madison survey on "A Study of Faculty Use of Digital Resources and Libraries." Over 100 WSU faculty responded. In the second phase, the student assessment day survey focused on student perception of online course management systems. Service quality and system quality were the two most important factors impacting satisfaction with using information technology. Users particularly are more likely to use digital resources if they are easy to access and navigate. The instructor's knowledge about and effective use of technology were important to students' levels of satisfaction. The study provided a model for measuring future effective and successful user satisfaction. Click here for the complete study report. |
