The WSU Environmental Club will host the 7th Annual Bike Week this week. From 11 to 3 p.m. daily volunteers will be available at the Alumni Gazebo to help bicyclists with minor tune-ups. Bike Week is free and open to the public.
Charla Miertschin has been appointed dean of the WSU College of Science and Engineering. Miertschin has served as interim dean of the College of Science and Engineering since July 2012 and is committed to furthering 21st Century advances in the college.
WSU will hold the annual Relay for Life Friday, April 25. The night will be filled with activities, games and entertainment which includes a live DJ, silent auction, Zumba, Mr. Relay Pageant and more. Funds raised benefit the American Cancer Society.
WSU will celebrate Arbor Day with a dedication of the Richard and Moonyeen Holle Arboretum Friday, April 25. The dedication recognizes the university’s history of providing an environment that supports enjoyment, education, recreation and research.
