Feedback on Name Change
Student
I believe that WSU should be renamed University of MN, Winona. Most states name their universities in such a manner. Why do we include the word 'STATE', it isn't really necessary
Student/Staff
I believe that we at WSU shouldn't change our name. I think that one of the greatest things about WSU is that it is a nonconformist collage and just because other schools do something has never been a good enough reason for us to follow suit. We are an individualistic unit and we function as well as that unit, that team. To start changing ourselves to meet a norm would break down that bond that binds us together as a school and as a community. I feel that we are always thinking and acting for ourselves that is a major part of being who and what we are. I would rather not see us change our name, but if we were to do so, I'd like it to be something unique and all our own such as Winona State University-Minnesota. Thank you for reading this response and putting time and thought into my answers, it is appreciated.
faculty
It should not. * it is a waste of money at this time there are a lot of areas that could use money...changing signs, stationary, etc. seems unnecessary! * "if it isn't broke, don't fix it" * WSU is a well respected name!!!
student
I don't think that the name should be changed because it will loose some of it's individual identity and for the students that started out here, they want to graduate from Winona state the school that they applied to not another school name
Student
I don't think WSU should change it's name just because it would be so confusing, and everyone that goes here already are still going to call it WSU anyway. Also, I would think that after everyone has bought the apparel with WSU on it, they would be pretty upset if it changed and their clothes were out of date then.
STUDENT
I believe that WSU should not change its name because: 1. It has always been WSU. 2. It will not be known as well as it is now, Nation wide. 3. Why not keep our name and be original? Why do we have to be like all the other state colleges?
Student
I think it would be fine if it stayed Winona State University, it seems we get plenty of foriegn people so marketing of this college seems then to be doing well as i beleive marketing was a reason Mankato changed it's name (since no one out of the state knew where Mankato was) This is a great state and if it did change I think Minnesota (like Mankato's new name) should be included and as you said it not be some other unidentifiable unconnected name.
Student
Yes: Because then it is easier to find in high school college books. We'd actually feel like a part of a school system. Minnesota State University, Winona
Student
I don't think WSU should change it's name. Changing the name will not intice more out-of-state students to attend this school. That must be done by improving academic programs and offering students a quality learning environment. My sister attends Mankato and she has not seen any drastic improvements. So why make things complicated?
Student
I think it's fine the way it is, but if it were to change I wouldn't care. University of Minnesota, Winona...I guess
Student
To whoever is reading this, Answer #1: This school should not change the name because there is no need to. Can't change it to MSU, Winona because it is really a stupid idea that Mankato had to begin with and we are Winona not Mankato. If we want to be like Mankato, we would go there instead of here. Can't change it top Laptop U, because if we do, we might as well drop every program we have here. Also both of those names sound pathetic and would humiliate the school instead of adding credibility to it. Answer #2: If there is a change that is at least respectible, it would be the name "UM-Winona." That is the only name I see salvageable to the school's reputation.
Student
1. I do not wish to see WSU go through a name change because it eliminates any distinction of our university. I am proud to say that I attend Winona State University, but to say I studied at the U of M Winona wouldn't be much different than any one else in the state. I do not agree with a name change at Winona State University. The college has been around for many years and it is very well known as a teachers college and now for it's superb nursing program. Changing the name would detract from the long history here in Winona. I would not support a name change if put to vote.
Faculty
I am a facutly member. 1. I believe Winona State should change name. Main reason: name recognition. 2. Suggested name: Minnesota State University -Winona. Our university is already well known in the state, but we need more name recognition outside of Minnesota. This name recognition will help attract out of state students.
Student
I don't think WSU should change it's name. It has been WSU for so long that it would be years before anyone started using the new name, if they did even use it. And what name is better for this campus than Winona Sate University? I can't think of one.
Student
I'm a student here at WSU. I don't think that WSU should change its name. Winona State University is very distinct-sounding in my opinion--there is no need to change it. Also, I believe one of the reasons that people wanted to add Minnesota to it was so that people would know where it's located. People from all across the Midwest come to Winona State, so I really don't see this as a problem. So, I say to just leave the name alone.
Student.
I think that Winona State University should keep it's name. For such a relatively small university, it is fairly well known in other states (I'm from IL). Changing it's name would only put froce WSU back into obscurity. I think WSU should work on getting the name it already has out and making it more popular, not change it's name and start all over again. Oliver Sternberg University? (sorry, I'm anti name change, but I figure if it's *got* to be changed....)
Student
I am a student. I would not like to see WSU's name changed. This name is unique and can only by used by this college because there is no other Winona in the State of Minnesota. Changing the name could also cause confusion in prospective students. They may ask former graduates where they went and not be able to find any information on WSU, because there won't be one.
Student
I am a student--3rd year. I do not think WSU should change its name. I think it should stay the way it is for tradition's sake, and also because people already know the name, and a new name would just be confusing. Plus I think it would generate too much paperwork. I do not think there is a good reason TO change its name. There have been no major changes in how things are run, it is still a state university in Winona--as its name reflects. Sincerely, (name)
student
I prefer the WSU version better than MSU-W. Winona State is much more personal than Minnesota State University, Winona. There is ONE Winona State (even though it is a Minnesota State University). I REALLY prefer WSU
Student
I do not believe that Winona State University should change it's name. There is identity and ownership in the Winona State University name. Not to even mention the tradition the involved in the name. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to be included. (Name) , Senior Nursing student.
Student
I do not think it makes any difference considering it will essentially be the same school. Some object because, the name will be new and possibly not recognizable if changed in such a way.
student
Chance it becuae it would be better recognized and look better on resumes. Minnesota State U. or University of Minnesota
STUDENT
I DO NOT THINK THAT YOU SHOULD CHANGE YOUR NAME BECAUSE IT JUST IS NOT RIGHT
Student
I do not belive that changing Winona State University to another name is a good idea. All who have passed through here before us have contributed to building the current reputation that Winona State has acheived. By changing the name of the university, a peice of that past will die along with the name. If a university wants to have a sence of longivity it needs a stable foundation built on time and honor. If the name is changed the university will have to start all over again with its building process. Thank you. (Name) Senior Composite Materials Engineering Major
Student
I beleive we should leave the name as it is. Tradition is something that America seems to be lacking in, we are always trying to change to make things better, when really there is nothing wrong with what we have.
STUDENT
IT GIVES WSU AN IDENTITY. MANY PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW THAT WINONA EXISTS, SO TAKING WSU AWAY WOULD BE DETRIMENTAL TO THE WSU AND WINONA COMMUNITIES. I AM PROUD TO SAY THAT I ATTEND WINONA STATE UNIVERSITY, NOT MINNESOTA STATE UNIVERSITY-WINONA. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE IT REMAIN THE SAME. THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO ASK THE STUDENTS THEIR THOUGHTS AND OPINIONS. WE APPRECIATE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Faculty
I AM A FACULTY MEMBER AT WINONA STATE UNIVERSITY. MINNESOTA IS AN EDUCATION STATE. IT HAS A NATIONAL REPUTATION, AT THE HIGHEST LEVELS. WHEN RECRUITING FACULTY AND STUDENTS TO OUR UNIVERSITY, WHEN APPLYING FOR GRANTS AND SPECIAL ADMISSIONS, I THINK IT WOULD HELP TO HAVE THE NAME 'MINNESOTA' IN THE OFFICIAL TITLE OF OUR UNIVERSITY. GENERALLY IT SEEMS PEOPLE OUTSIDE OF THIS REGION ARE NOT POSITIVELY INFLUENCED BY THE NAME 'WINONA' AS IN 'WINONA STATE UNIVERSITY'. WHICH STATE ARE WE TALKING ABOUT? WHERE IS WINONA? THE LATTER ARE QUESTIONS I AM OFTEN ASKED AT NATIONAL MEETINGS. I SUGGEST EITHER OF THE TWO FOLLOWING NAMES. EACH CAPITALIZES ON THE NAME 'MINNESOTA' AS WELL AS THE NAME 'ROCHESTER'. 1. THE WINONA-ROCHESTER MINNNESOTA STATE UNIVERSITY 2. THE MINNESOTA STATE UNIVERSITY OF WINONA AND ROCHESTER
Faculty
Should NOT change its name. Minnesota State University - "Whatever" doesn't indicate any unique qualities within the institution. The blanket umbrella may already be in existence (all MNSCU institutions), but no need to cloud the perceptions of others. WSU is emerging as one of the top MNSCU institutions. A name change to MSU-W would require additional time and effort to keep perceptions from taking a step backwards. I don't believe following a trend is professional. I have not heard any compelling reasons why WSU SHOULD change its name.
Student
I don't think WSU should change its name for the following reasons. 1) There is not another Univeristy with the same name. 2) Winona State is a tradition- the first institure of higher learning west of the great Mississippi. 3) Mankato's new name is very stupid with that dumb comma in it. If by chance they should change our school's name, I think it should be, University of Minnestoa-Winona State. (UM-WS for short) OR University of Minnesota- Winona(UM-W for short) This way, the school gets geographically located by being linked to Minnesota, AND we don't have a stupid comma associated with our school.
Student
I will agree that WSU should change its name because If WSU change to Minnesota state Univerty, Winona. Most of the people around state will know that what is minnnesota state University instead of what is Winona state University and where is the location. Second, The people from outside of United state will more easily to recognize what is Minnesota state University, Winona not Winona state University especially it is quite important that the student from other countries. The company would like to hiring people who graduate the university they know. University of Wisconsin is the best example that WSU should change the name. I don't really know what u guys are thinking about. For me, If WSU has changed the name, it should have a lot of benefit for me...like employment, People will know where i am studying and so on. Thank you very much to give this chance to me. Your Sincerely, (name)
Faculty
Graduate Assistant / English Dept. I'll answer with another question. What is the advantage in changing the name? I suppose if we must change the name, University of Minnesota @ Winona would suffice. I'm not sure that it is necessary, though.
STUDENT
I DON'T THINK THAT WSU SHOULD CHANGE THE NAME, BECAUSE I DON'T SEE ANY REAL BENIFITS. EVERYONE THAT IS FAMILIAR WITH THE UNIVERSITY KNOWS IT AS WSU, IF YOU CHANGE THE NAME PEOPLE MAY CONFUSE IT WITH ANOTHER SCHOOL. ASO, FOR THE ALUMNI, IT WOULDN'T BE AS SPECIAL IF THEY CHANGE THE NAME. MANY OF THEM MAY FEEL LESS CONECTED TO THE SCHOOL, AND MAY EVEN POSSIBLY FEEL THAT THEY WOULDN'T NEED TO DONATE TO THE SCHOOL. I DON'T THINK WSU SHOULD CHANGE THE NAME. THANKS FOR LISTENING TO STUDENTS!!
Faculty.
I believe WSU should NOT change its name because: 1. Winona is a unique community. Any names that would not include "Winona" , or would push it later in the title (Minnesota State University, Winona) would weaken or dilute the character that our current title, Winona State University, gives. 2. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Student
I think they should because a change could mean more national recognition and people from other states would have an idea of where Winona is, instead of having to explain that it is in the south-eastern corner of the state. Minnesota State University, Winona--I like this one the best. Winona State University of Minnesota
Student
I feel that WSU should keep it's name because of it's location and it's about the only thing with the Winona name that I feel gives the town pride.
STUDENT
I THINK THAT WSU SHOULD NOT CHANGE ITS NAME FOR A FEW REASONS. FIRST, WINONA STATE UNIVERSITY IS A SIMPLE, EASY NAME THAT SOUNDS CLASSY. IT IS ALSO EASY WHEN DOING SCHOOL SPIRIT FUNCTIONS TO YELL "WSU" RATHER THAN OTHER LONG DRAWN OUT NAMES. BESIDES, MOST OF US WHO ARE HERE, PREFER TO GRADUATE FROM WSU AND THERE AREN'T ANY GOOD REASONS TO CHANGE THE NAME. IT'S TRADITIONAL AND SOUNDS GOOD. NOTHING....NO CHANGES PLEASE
Student
I DO NOT BELEIVE THAT THE NAME OF THIS UNIVERSITY SHOULD BE CHANGED!!!! WSU ALUMNI HOLD PRIDE IN THE NAME AND NEW GRADUATES WOULD NOT LIKE TO HAVE THE NAME CHANGED RIGHT AFTER THY LEAVE. PEOPLE IN WSU WOULD NOT REALLY ENJOY HAVING THE LOGO CHANGED AND SPORTS TEAMS WOULD HAVE TO GET NEW UNIFORMS. THIS MONEY COULD BE BETTER SPENT IN OTHER PLACES-TO FACILITATE OUR EDUCATION. DON'T CHANGE THE NAME....I CAN NOT FORSEE ANY BENEFITS IN THE FUTURE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.
STUDENT
I DONT FORESEE ANY BENEFIT IN CHANGING THE WSU NAME. ALL I SEE IS MORE MONEY WASTED AND ALOT OF HEADACHES FOR EVERYONE. I BELIEVE THAT WSU SHOULD KEEP ITS NAME. WE ARE A DISTINCTIVE INSTITUTION IN OUR STATE AND NATIONALLY. HAVING WINONA FIRST IN THE TITLE PUTS WINONA FIRST! AS A "MN STATE UNIVERSITY AT WINONA", WE COULD EASILY GET LOST IN A LONG LIST OF OUR OTHER STATE INSTITUTIONS- AND, ALPHABETICALLY, WE WOULD BE LAST!!!! LET'S BE WHO WE ARE FOR CONTINUITY AND LONGEVITY AS WE CONTINUE TO GET BETTER AT WHAT WE DO WITH OUR OUTSTANDING QUALITY INITIATIVES. THANK YOU FOR REQUESTING INPUT! (NAME)
Student
I am a student at WSU, and I do not think we should change our name. I like the distinction of WINONA STATE UNIVERSITY verses University of Minnesota Winona, etc. By keeping our name, we are keeping our history and our uniqueness. I think it would be a big mistake to change.
STUDENT
I THINK THAT WSU SHOULD NOT CHANGE ITS NAME FOR SEVERAL REASONS. FIRST OF ALL, EVERYBODY KNOWS WSU AS "WINONA STATE UNIVERSITY." CHANGING THE NAME WILL JUST CAUSE CONFUSION, ESPECIALLY FOR PEOPLE NOT AROUND HERE. SECOND, THE ONLY PURPOSE CHANGING OUR COLLEGE'S NAME WOULD SERVE WOULD BE TO SUCK MORE MONEY OUT OF THE COLLEGE STUDENTS WHEN THEY HAVE TO BUY NEW SWEATSHIRTS, T-SHIRTS, ETC WITH THE NEW COLLEGE NAME ON IT. I DON'T BELIEVE THAT IS A VALID EXCUSE TO CHANGE OUR NAME. WE ARE KNOWN AS WINONA STATE UNIVERSITY AND I WANT TO STAY THAT WAY. THANK YOU.
STUDENT
I believe that we should change our name, because WSU is not a very known university, but if we have a big name like Univeristy of Minnesota - Winona. It will be easier to get jobs in more companies big or small. Since a lot of companies know University of Minesota, but don't know WSU. UNIVERSITY OF MINESOTA- WINONA. I think having a name like Minesota state univerity will be almost the same thing as having Winona State, because Uof M is more known to different states, nation wide and international wide. I think Uof M - winona: will be more appropriate if we are going to change our name.
student
I believe it shouldn't change it's name, because Winona State University sounds more personal and down to earth. It helps make Winona State stand from the other Minnesota universities that are called Minnesota State University, Wherever. I don't think they should change the name
Faculty
a. To give it better recognition nationally and internationally. The name "Winona" does not meet with great recognition. (Oh, you're from "Mississippi?") The use of "Minnesota" in the title would provide a name that people would recognize, thereby helping or at least making more comfortable those faculty members whose interests and activities extend beyond the state borders. For some faculty members, notably those who are beginning to engage in scholarly activities, the name change might facilitate the acceptance of papers and articles. b. To aid students who secure positions out of state by not perplexing interviewers and forcing long disquisitions on the kind of an institution Winona State is. c. To end the confusion over Rochester, where a growing and thriving campus exists. I notice that some people in Rochester now add "Rochester Center" or similar identifications to their names when they present papers or publish articles , although such additions have no official sanction and certainly make by-lines lengthy. Students at the Center that I have dealt with invariably make clear that they attend the Rochester campus. d. Winona's name has changed several times since its origin in the 19th century to reflect its growing responsibilities, and I think now is the time for another change. The name "Winona" had been praised because it ostensibly continues the name of the first teachers college (normal school) developed west of the Mississippi (actually, I believe San Jose State in California was, but no matter), but such a claim to fame can be dysfunctional in terms of the wide array of substantial academic programs that the institution now has. 1. Minnesota State University, Southeast. 2. Minnesota State University, Winona. 3. Southeastern Minnesota State University
Student
I am a student. I think we should leave the school name fro two reasons. 1. Tradition. 2. It is a good way to differentiate from other msus schools. I've heard about the idea like Mankato state followed. That is a costly process that I think is unnecesary.
Student
A name change to something more like mankato's name change might make a graduates degree more recognizable if they relocate out of state. Particularly if they relocate to where minnesota degree's are very well regarded like Texas or Arizona. This might give the prospective employer immediate recognition of the school the applicant went to. Minnesota state U, Winona
Student
I am a sophmore here at WSU I don't believe we should because how could that really benefit us? It's just a name. Sure, we may sound bigger and more important. I am not criticizing WSU because I LOVE it here and wouldn't go anywhere else, but wouldn't changing it for the aformentioned reasons be false advertisement?
Student
I am a second year student here at Winona State University. WSU should not change its name. I guess that I don't see a good reason for changing the name. I don't know what it would do for the university. It wouldn't change any kind of reputation we have, it wouldn't suddenly make us have better professors or make us better students. I don't see how it would draw more students or make us a better university in any way. In addition, it would be difficult to change the name. All sports teams would need new uniforms and anything else with Winona State University written on it would need to be changed. I see that as an unneccessary waste of time and money. This time and money could be spent on things to better the universtity (which is how you will draw more students and get a better reputation). Don't change the name of Winona State University.
student
I don't understand the reasoning behind changing the name of a school. This is the name it was given, and the name people recognize it by. Is it going to better the education if the name is different? Also, I don't know if I would want to be a graduate from Winona, and in a couple years, have to change the name on my resumes just because, heck they wanted to change the name. I guess I just don't understand why.
Student
I do not see any point in changing name of the university. I feel that "Winona State" is known throughout many of the neighboring states, and it would take more time for the new name to be as well known in my opinion. I will be graduating next year and would like to graduate from "Winona State University." I feel that students that graduated in the past would feel the same way about a name change. They put a lot of effort into graduating from "Winona State." I have a question for you. What are the reasons for even thinking about a name change. I hope the answer is not just "Mankato did it." If that is the case, something is rotten in the state of Denmark. Until I hear some good reasons why we should change the name I feel it should be left alone. Sincerely, (name)
STUDENT
I DON'T THINK THE MINNESOTA STATE, MANKATO SOUNDS GOOD. I HEARD THE REASON THEY CHANGED THAT NAME WAS BECAUSE IT SOUNDED MORE "PROFESSIONAL", BUT I DON'T SEE HOW IT DOES. WINONA STATE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO TRY AND BE LIKE EVERY OTHER SCHOOL, IT'S A GOOD SCHOOL AND IT SHOULD RETAIN IT'S UNIQUENESS WITH IT'S NAME.
Student
I am a student at WSU. I don't think that WSU should change it's name because to me it sounds nice, it has a ring to it, and even sounds professional. I also think that it would cause less people to come to WSU because it wouldn't be as well known in high schools throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, and other neighboring states. Don't change it......PLEASE!
Student
We have a unique name and a great reputation that goes with it. If we change it, it can only cause confusion!! Besides, WSU has a nice ring to it!
Student
A new name may confuse future students above the college itself.
Student
Many students have come here because of the reputation and because their parents came here, etc. The name should stay the same.
Student
The name should not change because we all have WSU clothing that would not be cool if they changed. Suggestions: U of Minnesota, Winona.
Student
A name change would be confusing for alumni as employers will not realize that this used to be WSU. Expensive to replace everything with tthe name WSU on it.
Student
Remain unique. Afraid of length of a new name.
Student
Familiarity-WSU has better things to do with its $$ than spending it on changing a logo. E.g. Materials/books for new library
Student
What a waste of time and money! WSU is very well known. If we change, everything we have workied for will have to be established again. No change!
Student
WSU should not change its name, because it would not be beneficial in any way. Winona State University is a familiar name, and although some may not even know where Winona, Minnesota is, I like the small school personality.
Student
No name change because it would be a pain to change everything the old name is on and everyone would still call it WSU.
Student
It's a tradition-If it ain't broke, don't fix it! Athletic teams just spent a lot of money to change uniforms to meet the new (actually old) purple and white colors. If there would be a new name change, uniforms would need to be purchased again---it would be a waste of a lot of money. Besides uniforms, the University would nned to change all of the signs on campus. This would also be a great wast of money. Maybe the University should spend its money on something that the students could benefit from. For example, look at the facilities such as the memorial weight room and the nautilus in the basement of memorial hall. They are AWFUL! Spend some money where it could make a difference!! We don't need a name change, we need better workout facilities and equipment!!
Student
We need to maintain our identity. Don't change the name.
Student
The name that the University is planning on changing to or was thinking about changing is a prime example of conforming to the State University system. Winona is a separate school from the U of M, so why try and act like we are the same caliber?!
Student
We need to keep our identity as WSU and not change our name.
Student
We shouldn't change our name. Time, money, and promotion changes for incoming students.
Student
I think WSU should maintain its autonomy from the rest of the system. It is more desirable to me to be from a school that is independent and not trying to be like everyone else.
Student
The school would have to spend more money to repaint and remake clothing if the name changed. We don't need a name that is five words long.
Student
WSU has been known as WSU forever. It would be a bad idea to change the name!! I don't believe it would have much student support. LISTEN TO THE STUDENTS!!!
Student
NO- WSU has been the name of the University for a long time. There isn't anything wrong with the name. (If it isn't broke don't fix it). YES-Winona can always use a change, but go with somehting other than mankato. Suggestion- Winona State University of Minnesota
Student
No. To maintain our own identity. Winona is a good name.
Student
I like the fac tthat we have different names, it gives each school its own character. It would also create a problem with merchanise and team gear.
Faculty
Regarding your interest in comments about the name of this University. I do believe the change to Minnesota State University, Winona would lend itself to being less distinctive and would indeed end up referring to a number of State Universities. The present name is distinctive and sets Winona State University apart from other Universities in Minnesota.
Faculty
Should change to represent more accurately the nature and location of the institution. (I know of at least two other Winonas, one in Mississippi (with which we do not wnat to be confused) and one in Arizona (i.e. I get my kicks on Rte. 66)). Suggestions: 1-Minnesota State University at Winona 2-Minnesota State University-Winona
Faculty
It would indicate that it was a part of the state of Minnesota's University system. It would give it national identity. Minnesota State University, Winona.
Staff
It should not change its name. Makes it more unique to keep as WSU.
Staff
If you're looking at semantics, Winona State University just sounds better than University of Minnesota, Winona. Honestly, I'm mostly ambivalent about it.
Staff
I firmly believe we need Minnesota in our name. It gives ua a location identity. When I go to conferences people always ask Where is WSU? Let's face it, having Minnesota in our name could only help, not hinder. Besides, we've had at least 3 to 4 changes in our history already. What's wrong with another? My suggestions are Winona State University of Minnesota or Minnesota State University at Winona.
Staff
Winona shouldn't change the name. -Tradition -Alumni -Own identity
Student
I feel that Winona would lose some of its individualism if it changes its name to the proposed name. I would like to lean why we would and what we'd get out of it if we did change. Hwere at WSU we (should) have more to worry about i.e. the building of the new library, the new laptop policy, lack of residence hall space than changing the name of a well-known and well-respected school of higher education.
Staff
Wsu should definitely change its name. This is for Marketing, placements, professor recruitment, and international name recogonition. U of Minnesota, Winona.
Staff, Alumni
The name should change if all of the other state schools change. I don't like that we are all a member of the MNSCU sustem, but we can change our name if we feel like -- i.e. Mankato! For identity reasons, yes, I think Minnesota State.....is a good idea-if we ALL change. Minnesota State University, Winona. Thanks for your efforts.
Staff
--too cumbersome if it's University of Minnesota Winona --too hard to make the change...everyone will always say Mankato State --no uniqueness if it's not Winona State --I've never heard the suggestion of changing the name until Mankato did it...now do we do it just because they did?
Staff
Have a good reputation as WSU. Why make something simple into something more complicated?
Faculty
We shouldn't change the name because of identity reasons.
Staff
Yes, change the name. Everyone has heard of Minnesota, but Winona is only known regionally. I had never heard of Winona before seeing the job listing. MSU, Winona.
