B. The SPC shall be the forum for the WSU President to seek objective response to the Presidential vision of the future for WSU. In addition, SPC shall be a place where new ideas, from any constituency, regarding WSU shall be considered.
C. The SPC shall provide not only dreams and ideas, but considered courses of action and potential consequences (financial, space, personnel, etc.) for decisions.
D. The SPC shall provide recommendations to the president regarding the direction for all areas of the university.
E. The SPC shall deal with budgetary issues only in large sections, suggesting proportioning of resources (budget building and allocations of funds) among budgetary units in light of WSU's major goals and objectives.
