High school students should apply as soon as possible after September 1 of their senior year, as soon as they can provide an ACT score. WSU has been enrolling at capacity in recent years.
Transfer students can apply for fall, spring, or summer terms on the website. All materials must be in by 45 days prior to the beginning of the term. Separate, earlier deadlines exist for nursing and education transfer students.
Completed application form, online or paper version
$20 application fee or fee waiver request from your guidance office
Official high school transcript sent directly from the school
Official ACT composite score, sent directly from ACT
Transfer students should submit all college transcripts (if you have completed less than 24 hours of college work, also submit your high school transcripts).
First-time applicants requesting admission must fill out an application form. At the top of the form write “Military Personnel” (there is no spot to mark for a veteran on the online version; find a spot near the top to type it). The admission fee will be waived for veterans. After being admitted and registering for classes, ask our Admissions office about veterans’ benefits and how to apply for them.
