Guyland: The Perilous World Where Boys Become Men by Michael Kimmel. © 2008, HarperCollins Publishers. Explores the complex and often troubling social world in which boys age 16 to 26 are expected to make the transition from boyhood to manhood. Each year Winona State University selects one book to be used throughout campus, so chances are good that your student has read this for at least one class.
