Frannie Mann, Assistant Professor of Chemistry
Dr. Mann and her students work on biomedically important metabolites from various bacterial species.Two topics her group is currently researching include:
- Understanding and modifying bacterial metabolic pathways to optimize hosts for bacterial engineering
- Discovering and predicting biosynthetic pathways for metabolites involved in pathogenesis and cellular function in the family Mycobacterium
