Lyceum Grants
The Lyceum Committee provides funds for a wide variety of cultural enrichment and educational activities open to the general public, including such events as lectures, readings, performances, concerts, residencies and film series presentations. Suggestions for events are welcome from all members of the campus community. Simply complete and submit a Lyceum Application Form.
Professional Improvement Funds (IFO)
IFO Professional Improvement Funds (PIF) support faculty pursuing professional development opportunities. WSU Regulation Number 3-11 sets forth the policies covering this program. Sabbaticals support extended leave by faculty to undertake research, additional study, or related professional development activities. Travel Support for Undergraduate Student Research and Creative Presentations
Travel Support for Undergraduate Student Research and Creative Presentations awards provide support for undergraduates who, selected through a competitive application and review process, are invited to make presentations at local, regional or national conferences. Undergraduate Research and Creative Projects
Undergraduate Student Research and Creative Projects grants are awarded through a competitive application process and provide support for full-time undergraduate students engaged in faculty-sponsored research and creative projects. WSU Foundation Grants
The WSU Foundation supports WSU faculty and staff special project grants according to the following priorities:

Unique one-time projects that lead to activities which attract students or other persons to the university so as to enhance the image of WSU.

Innovative research and/or curriculum development proposals that lead to new program development and which will have continued financial support from sources other than the Foundation.

Applied regional research that leads to scholarly publication and a greater awareness of university service to the region.

Travel to a conference or workshop to enhance expertise in a particular discipline or for the presentation of a paper. Travel is not prohibited, but the budget may not permit funding.
