Summer is fast approaching and Winona is a great place to be this year! Located among majestic bluffs and along the Mississippi River, the beauty of the area will capture your spirit. Winona is known for its historical sites and activities. If you seek culture, entertainment or just want to sit back and take in breathtaking scenery, Winona is the place to be!

The University Apartments at East Lake offer 100 modern and beautifully furnished units contained within four buildings. Each apartment contains a full kitchen, washer/dryer unit, storage closets, furniture for every room, and central air and heat. All buildings are locked 24 hours a day to ensure our guests’ safety and security.

The location boasts a fabulous view of Sugar Loaf, Lake Winona, and the bluffs surrounding the area. Lake Winona, located across the street from the apartments, features a 5.5 mile paved path, softball fields, volleyball and tennis courts, and many pavilions for those family reunions or picnics.

As part of your Summer Escape experience, a portion of your fees will go to join the WSU Learning Club. The Learning Club is a collaborative educational partnership between WSU and retirement-age citizens in the area that capitalizes on the strengths and characteristics of older learners, offering programs selected, attended, and often taught by the membership.
