College For Kids

Mark your calendars for this summer's program dates:
July 13-17 & 20-24!

The Winona State University College For Kids (CFK) summer enrichment program offers "college courses" created specifically for students who have completed grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 in the spring. Students eligible for enrollment in the program are identified by their teachers as students who have the potential and/or passion and motivation to expand their horizons during these two weeks of classes. Scholarships are available on a need basis and are provided by the generous donations of our sponsors!

WSU College For Kids brings together members of the community with all aspects and levels of education in Winona and the surrounding area. The CFK Professors represent the faculties from Winona and the areas educational institutions — K-12, Colleges and Universities — plus others who are highly talented and experienced professionals from Winona and the area. CFK Professors design the courses and "aim high" at challenging young minds to enrich their knowledge and experience and to engage them in a passion for lifelong learning.

Volunteers

College For Kids appreciates and looks forward to working with all of our volunteers!

College For Kids volunteers take attendance each day, walk the students to class, assist the teachers with anything they need, accompany the students during the snack break, and take them to the pick-up spot to meet their parents. Please view the online catalog to outline which classes you would be interested in volunteering. If you are not able to volunteer for the entire week, we always need help with registration on Mondays and graduation on Fridays.

To volunteer for the 2009 program, please fill out and submit the Volunteer Form
