Bicycles and Motorized Vehicles
Bicycles
Bicycles are required to be parked in bicycle racks in designated areas. Bicycles are not to be chained to lamp posts, trees, building components, etc. If found chained to a lamp post, tree, building component, etc., the chain/lock will be cut off and the bicycle will be impounded with a $5 service charge imposed. Cost of the chain, lock, etc. shall not be reimbursed and possession of his/her impounded bicycle can take place by (1) identifying it at Parking Services (Maxwell 233); and (2) paying the service charge. The University will not be responsible for damages.
Motorized Two or Three Wheeled Vehicles
As of Fall Semester 2005 all motorized two or three wheel vehicles will be required to have a parking permit displayed. Such means of transportation not displaying a parking permit, and not parked in designated areas of parking lots, will be given a citation for illegal parking. Motorized vehicles parking on campus must obtain parking permits by filling out the parking permit application. Locations of the parking lots may be found on the campus maps.
