Counseling
Counseling services are regularly available through Winona State University-Rochester
Center. Staff members are professional counselors with extensive academic
experience in counseling.
Career Services
We are pleased to announce the expansion of Career Services on the Rochester campus! A counselor is now available to meet with students Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. for various career planning needs including: EZlink registration, your personal job/internship search, career decision making, career exploration and planning, interview tips and resources, job outlook/salary questions, and resume & cover letter assistance. Financial
Aid
Counseling is available for students concerning long and short-term plans
for financing their education. An application for financial aid should
be requested at the time the student applies for admission. Representatives
from the WSU Financial Aid Office are available at the Rochester Center
on a weekly basis. Preliminary information is available at the Rochester
Center.
Winona State Billing Information
Computer Facilities
The Computer facilities consist of four teaching computer labs, two open
computer labs, and a shared computer lab. All labs allow student access
to mainframes on campus. Fees collected support lab laser and scanner
uses amd home/lab access to email and the Internet.
Library
Winona State University Rochester Center's library holdings are integrated
into UCRs Goddard Library. This arrangement provides students with an
extensive resource of reference and research maternal. Currently, library
holdings number over 57,000 volumes. There is an overnight courier service
to WSUs Maxwell Library for articles and books, which enables WSU Rochester
students to have access to both the UCR and WSU libraries. On-line computer
searches are possible through both the PALS and Luminet systems.
Campus Facilities
In 1993 the University Center Building opened, housing Winona State University-Rochester
Center, the University of Minnesota Rochester Center, and the now Rochester
Community Technical College. This joint use facility is equipped with
state-of-the-art technology for interactive television and computer systems
that link UCR students with main campuses and the world.
