A variety of Study Abroad options are available for you if you are interested in broadening your university experience and enhancing your resume by including a living and learning experience in a foreign country. In addition to programs sponsored by WSU, you may select programs through other universities. Programs vary in location, length, cost, admission requirements, application deadlines, focus, etc., so it is important to receive the most recent and detailed information. The Student Resource Center provides the information and guidance in selecting and applying for Study Abroad.

Step One: Pick up or download a Study Abroad Interest Form to arrange a study abroad experience in one of these locations: Africa, Asia, Australia, Canada, Caribbean, Central America, China, Costa Rica, England, Eurospring, Europe, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, Middle East, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Russia, Scotland, Semester at Sea, South Africa, South America, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom. Drop off the completed form to the Student Resource Center.

Step Two: The Student Resource Center staff will notify you when your study abroad packet is ready for pickup. You will receive information specifically targeting your interests and geographic preferences.

Step Three: Early and careful planning for Study Abroad is important; set-up an appointment with C K Kwai, Director of Study Abroad, Kryzsko Commons 126, 457-5303, CKwai@winona.edu . For more details go to WSU Study Abroad website: http://www.winona.edu/studyabroad

Step Four: Follow the requirements for Academic Approval. All WSU-sanctioned programs that are one semester or more typically carry 12-15 credits per semester.
