ServicesCheck CashingThe Student Resource Center offers a check cashing service. For a small fee of 15 cents, students may cash a personal check up to $30.00 or a check from a parent or relative up to $100.00 with proper identification (Driver's License and/or Student ID). Vending RefundsWe also offer a Vending Refund at the Student Resource Center. Simply come to us if one of the vending machines does not give you a refund. ChangeThe Student Resource Center offers change services up to a $20 limit. FaxesStudents may send and receive faxes anytime during open hours at the Student Resource Center.

To Receive a Fax: Lost and FoundThe Student Resource Center hosts one of the Lost and Found locations for the campus. If you lose something feel free to stop by and the desk assistants will be more than happy to see if someone has turned in your item. Items that have not been picked up by the end of the semester will be donated to the Winona Volunteer Services. Legal HelpWinona State has a volunteer Attorney who comes to campus every Tues. from 5-7pm to meet with students on a first come first serve appointment sign up system, to help students with legal matters. The list is located at the Student Resource Center. To Sign up just stop by during open hours. A meeting time must be setup by 2pm on Tuesday of each week. Equipment CheckoutThe Student Resource Center offers students the opportunity to check out equipment such as LCD projectors, white boards, tables and chairs as well as other equipment. Print OutsThe Student Resource Center has a printer which student can print to. The printouts are places in a basket and is emptied throughout the day. Please don't print something if you are not going to pick it up as this service is part of each students Student Activities Fee. Study AboardA variety of Study Abroad options are available for you if you are interested in broadening your university experience and enhancing your resume by including a living and learning experience in a foreign country. In addition to programs sponsored by WSU, you may select programs through other universities. Programs vary in location, length, cost, admission requirements, application deadlines, focus, etc., so it is important to receive the most recent and detailed information. The Student Resource Center provides the information and guidance in selecting and applying for Study Abroad. HandoutsThe Student Resource Center has many different handouts that are useful for students such as degree audit reports, study abroad information, declaration of major forms, campus phone numbers, information on professors, calendar of events, change of address forms, registrar's forms, maps, information about Winona, On and Off campus housing, change of name forms, and many others. Tech Help DeskThe Student Resource Center will have a tech support expert in the Student Resource Center Monday through Thursday from 8:00pm to 12:00am.
