Transfer Admission Requirements

  • Transfer students who have completed at least 24 semester college level credits at a nationally accredited college or university with a cumulative grade point average of 2.4 will generally be admitted to WSU.
  • Transfer students who have fewer than 24 semester college level credits must also submit a final high school transcript and ACT score.  For students entering in January 2010:  If you were in the top half of your graduating class with an ACT of 18 or better, or or have an ACT of 21 or higher, you will generally be admitted as long as you have a 2.0 or better transfer GPA.   New standard for students entering in Fall 2010 and beyond:  If you were in the top half of your graduating class with an ACT of 18 or better, or top 2/3 of your graduating class with a 21 or higher on the ACT, you will generally be admitted to WSU, as long as you have a 2.0 or better transfer GPA.
  • What if you don't meet this criteria? If your cumulative college GPA is between 2.2 and 2.39, a transfer specialist will conduct a personal interview and review your application individually.
