Welcome to Winona State University! Here are some important dates to keep in mind as you countdown the days to your first semester at WSU in Fall 2017.

2016

    Sept. 1
    First day to apply for Fall 2017; continuous until July 2017
    Sept. 19
    WSU begins mailing admissions decision letters
    Oct. 1
    Can begin to submit FAFSA for Fall 2017 Financial Aid
    Oct. 4-5
    Minneapolis National College Fair Days
    Oct. 20-21
    Fall Open House Days at WSU, 9am and 1pm
    Oct. 24-31
    Free application week! Fees waived for any applications submitted
    Dec. 2
     Academic Preview Day: all-day event; meet faculty and learn about programs

    2017

    Feb. 3, 10, 17
    Admitted Student Day Programs - invitation by email; must RSVP. Spend a day with your WSU academic college!
    Feb. 26-27
    Tentative dates for PALS Weekend overnight program for admitted high school seniors
    March 31
    Academic Scholarship Registration Day - must be invited and RSVP; opportunity to register early for fall classes
    April 7
    Academic Scholarship Registration Day - must be invited and RSVP; opportunity to register early for fall classes
    May 12
    Spring Showcase Day; if you haven't visited campus yet, please attend!
    June 15
    Housing assignments available online
    June 19-23
    New Student Registration Days - RSVP for your one-day program. Get advising and set up fall schedule; ID card photos, receive laptop and tablet; parent and family sessions included
    By July 1
    Roommate assignments available online. Last day to request housing deposit refund. Cancel contract by email to ResLife@winona.edu
    Before Aug. 15
    Have your high school send an official transcript showing a graduation date to WSU Admissions
