Parent and Family ResourcesThe college years are your student's time to learn and grow as an individual in an environment conducive to learning on many levels. Whether it be learning how to navigate through campus, writing a A-worthy paper or reaching out and making new friends, many opportunities for growth will come quickly, starting with your student's first week at WSU. No matter how you look at it, regular communication will help both of you through this transition to independence and adulthood for your student. You will find which method works best for keeping in touch, whether it be through a weekly phone call, email or regular texting. Your own personal style of communication will most likely be found through trial and error! We thank all the families who spent quality time in Winona during WSU Family Weekend September 14-16, 2012 . At times, you may need a quick answer for your own planning information, so this page is designed to direct you to "the basics." As always, you can call or email the Office of Student Life and Development with questions: studentlife@winona.edu or 507.457.5300.
