Winona State offers world-class education with the tremendous value of public university cost. In addition to a variety of forms of financial aid, WSU students may be eligible for a number of academic scholarships. All applicants are automatically considered for academic awards, so there is no extra paperwork to complete. Because of our growth as a first-choice, we urge scholarship students to apply before December 15.
Freshman Scholarships
*(Renewable for sophomore, junior, senior years based on college gpa. WSU assesses at the end of the academic year for renewal of scholarship. Students may use the summer term immediately after the academic year to repair a gpa back to 3.5 after consultation with the Director of Admissions about the situation. A scholarship is not reinstated if the “repair” back to 3.5 happens after that time.)
