Dominic Ricciotti,  Professor

B.F.A., Washington University in St. Louis; City University of New York Hunter College; Ph.D., Indiana University, Bloomington. Dr. Ricciotti is the current and former Chair of the Department. A member of the art faculty since 1985, he teaches Art History and has also served as Gallery Director. Dr. Ricciotti has published articles on twentieth-century art and architecture, including the pioneering American modernists Max Weber, Joseph Stella, and the 1930s buildings of Edward D. Stone. In the 1960s before turning to Art History, he lived and worked as a painter in New York City.
