Celebration of the Book
This series is dedicated to discussing issues related to the book - as art form, as communication device, as research tool, etc., and its future in the 21st century. View the Celebration of the Book schedule.
The Common Book
The Common Book project brings together a large community of readers in the discussion of a single work. In these initial years of the project, thousands of members of the WSU community have joined in reading each year’s chosen book, and attended the public readings and discussions scheduled with each author’s visit to campus. Great River Reading Series
The John S. Lucas Great River Reading Series is co-sponsored by the Department of English and the WSU Residential College. The free series hosts prominent authors who read from their work and discuss writing with students and the public.
The Lyceum Series

It was initiated in 1989 to present events that provide unique cultural enrichment and educational opportunities for the Winona and Rochester campus communities.
