PERFORMING ARTS CENTER
The PAC is home to the Music, Theatre and Dance, and Communication Studies departments, and campus radio station KQAL-FM. Located at the center of campus, the PAC houses the 433-seat Main Stage Theatre, the 192-seat Recital Hall and the Dorothy B. Magnus Open Stage Theatre, a “black box” theatre space than can be configured to seat nearly 150.

SOMSEN HALL
Somsen Hall is WSU’s main administration building. It houses the offices of the President, Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar and the Outreach and Continuing Education Department, among others. The Technical Support Center and the main Computer Lab are located on the second floor, and the third floor is home to the College of Business. The centerpiece of the building is the 900-seat Somsen Auditorium which is used as a classroom and as the primary venue for numerous lectures and cultural events such as the Lyceum Series and the annual Frozen River Film Festival.

THE SCIENCE LABORATORY CENTER / STARK HALL / PASTEUR HALL
The College of Science and Engineering and the College of Nursing are located in this building complex that consists of the Science Laboratory Center (SLC), Stark Hall and the newly-renovated Pasteur Hall. The SLC contains a 188-seat auditorium (SLC 120) and Stark Hall houses the 176-seat Miller Auditorium (Stark 103). The SLC Atrium (completed in 2006), which connects all three buildings, and the SLC and Miller auditoriums serve as primary venues for numerous campus lectures series and the annual Frozen River Film Festival.

DARRELL W. KRUEGER LIBRARY
Built in 1999, the Darrell W. Krueger Library is a resource for the greater southeastern Minnesota and WSU communities. The library not only serves the WSU academic community through its many resources, but also serves as a U.S. Government Depository.

KRYZSKO COMMONS
Kryzsko Commons is the university's Student Union where you'll find a variety of dining and food service options, a book store, study lounges, meeting rooms, and many club offices. Performance and lecture venues include the Art Tye Lounge/Student Activities Center (SAC), Baldwin Lounge, Smaug Stage, and East Hall. Pictured is the Solarium addition which was completed in 2006 and overlooks the center of campus.

PHELPS HALL
Constructed in 1909, Phelps Hall is the oldest building on campus. The Mass Communication and Psychology departments fill most of the building, which also includes the Department of Theatre and Dance’s spacious 3,600 sq. ft. Dance Studio.

WATKINS HALL
The Art and Computer Science departments are located in Watkins Hall. The Art Department has classroom and studio spaces and two galleries: a primarily student-focused exhibit space on the second floor and the Paul Watkins Gallery on the first floor. The Watkins Gallery showcases several local, regional and national artisits in a variety of media.

MINNE HALL
Minné Hall houses the office of the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and is home to departmental offices for English, Sociology/Social Work, History, Paralegal, Philosophy, and Political Science. The Minné Lounge is located on the second floor and a Computer Lab and Writing Center are located on the third floor.

LOURDES HALL
Located on the West Campus, Lourdes Hall is home to the WSU Residential College. Once a part of the College of St. Teresa, this historic building offers a unique living and learning environment where students reside, attend classes, dine, study, and socialize.

|
TAU CENTER
A co-ed residential dormitory for 122 students, the Tau Center, on the West Campus, features two modern conference rooms and the beautiful Rotunda, a fully-windowed conference space with a panoramic view that also doubles as a quiet study space.
