Stark Hall's Miller Auditorium plays host to the various campus lecture series as well as a number of guest authors, artists, instructors, and scholars. The auditorium features state-of-the art audio-visual equipment such as LCD projectors, wired microphones and retractable projection screens for rich media presentations.

The Miller Auditorium features a lighted metal sculpture entitled, "Reflections of the Land that Contains Us," by artist Barbara Bradley.

SCIENCE LABORATORY CENTER (SLC) 120 LECTURE HALL

SLC's Lecture Hall (Room 120) is a modern lecture facility featuring armchair writing desks, stadium seating, and state-of-the art audio-visual equipment for teleconferencing and video projection.

  SCIENCE LABORATORY CENTER ATRIUM

The SLC Atrium is a common public space that connects Stark Hall, Pasteur Hall, and the Science Laboratory Center. Its composition reflects many stone and geological elements that are common to the Winona area. Final construction of the Atrium concluded Fall 2006.

The Atrium features the work of six artists:

  • Barbara Bradley
  • Ruth Coleman Brothy
  • Maureen Crow
  • Brian Frink
  • Perry Lowell
  • Ingli Keri Pickett

The centerpiece of the Artium is a 31' diameter engraved granite and terrazzo stone bench entitled, "StarDust," (2005) by artist Larry Kirkland.
