Stark Hall's Miller Auditorium hosts various campus lecture series as well as a number of guest authors, artists, instructors, and scholars. The auditorium features state-of-the art audio-visual equipment such as LCD projectors, wired microphones and retractable projection screens for rich media presentations.

 

 SLC’s Lecture Hall features armchair writing desks, stadium seating, and audio-visual equipment for tele-conferencing and video projection.

 : The SLC Atrium is a common space that connects the science halls. It features geological elements of the area and works of art.

SLC ATRIUM

The SLC Atrium is a common public space that connects Stark Hall, Pasteur Hall, and the Science Laboratory Center. Its composition reflects many stone and geological elements that are common to the Winona area.
The Atrium features the work of six artists:

Perry Lowell
Ingli Keri Pickett
The Miller Auditorium features a lighted metal sculpture entitled "Reflections of the Land that Contains Us," by artist Barbara Bradley.
The centerpiece of the Atrium is a 31' diameter engraved granite and terrazzo stone bench entitled, "StarDust," (2005) by artist Larry Kirkland.
