Athletic Training at Winona State

The WSU Athletic Training program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to become highly competent, multi-skilled healthcare professionals. Students will complete a rigorous academic program both in the classroom and in the clinical setting, utilizing the most advanced technology and evidence-based research.

New for Fall 2017! Five-Year Master of Science Athletic Training Program

Starting fall of 2017 the Athletic Training program will transition to an entry level Master of Science in  Athletic Training (MSAT) (PDF) program. Freshmen students interested in this professional program can enter WSU as freshman in the fall of 2017 and complete both a bachelor’s degree in Movement Science and a master’s degree in Athletic Training in only five years.
