Ruff Named Pitcher Of The Week

ST. PAUL, MN -- Winona State University's Bryan Ruff threw a one-hitter at Southwest Minnesota State University and has been named Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Pitcher of the Week.

Ruff gave up a base hit to the leadoff SMSU batter in the first game of the four-game series that started the NSIC season for both teams. He then went on to toss a complete game in a one-walk, seven-strikeout effort in the 5-1 victory.
