WSU Remains No. 7 In Region Rankings Story by: Winona State Sports Information Office INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- Winona Sate University remained at No. 7 in the NCAA Division II Football Committee's announcement of regional rankings. The Warriors came of a 49-20 win over Northern State University to remain No. 7 in the Northwest Region. The victory also was the 100th in the coaching career of Head Coach Tom Sawyer.
