Cunningham Receives National Honor

WESTMONT, IL -- Winona State University's, senior, cornerback, Shawn Cunningham has been named Division II Co-Defensive Player of the Week by
Football Gazette.
Cunningham helped the Warriors to a 49-46 double overtime win against Southwest Minnesota State University by coming up with 15 solo tackles. He also had three tackles for losses of ten yards, two sacks for losses of nine yards to go along with one interception and one defensive breakup.
The win extended the Warrior winning streak to eight games and gives WSU a 9-1 record.
