Four Warriors Named Academic All-District

DELAWARE, OH -- ESPN The Magazine and Collegiate Sports Information Directors of America announced its 2007 Academic All-District teams and Winona State University had four players named to the District V squads.

Named to the academic first team for the Warriors was, senior, cornerback, Shawn Cunningham and, sophomore, right offensive tackle, Marcus Greatens, while chosen to the second team was, junior, left offensive tackle, Nick Urban and, senior, free safety, Craig Martindale.

Players are nominated by Sports Information Directors and selected for their excellence both in the classroom and on the playing field.

Cunningham, who was a second team selection a year ago, and Greatens will both be placed on a ballot for All-America consideration.
