Warriors To Face North Dakota

INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- The NCAA Division II Football Committee announced its pairings for the 2007 playoff season and Winona State University will face the University of North Dakota in Northwest Region opening round play November 17.
The Warriors (10-1) received the No. 3 Seed, while the Fighting Sioux (9-1) were tabbed the third seed. The contest will be played at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks, ND.
The winner of the game will advance on to the second round and will play No. 2 Seed and two-time defending national champion Grand Valley State University, MI (10-0) November 24.
In the lower half of the Northwest Region bracket, Central Washington (8-2) was given the No. 4 Seed and will host No. 5 Seed Ashland University (8-1). That winner will advance to the second round and face No. 1 Seed University of Nebraska-Omaha (10-0) in Omaha.
