Cunningham Selected Academic All-America

DELAWARE, OH -- For a second straight year, Winona State University cornerback Shawn Cunningham has been selected to the
ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America football team.
Cunningham (Waukon, IA), who was selected to the College Division Second Team for second straight year, is an accounting major.
Players must be nominated by their sports information director, have a 3.2 or high grade point average, played in 75 percent of his team' games. and be selected to his respective All-District first team in order to be placed on the All-America ballot.
Cunningham helped the Warriors to a 10-2 record, a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference championship and a spot in the NCAA Division II playoffs.
