Four Warriors Heading To Nationals

LA CROSSE, WI -- Winona State University will be sending four individuals to the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association National championship at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater March 24.

Qualifying for the Warriors are Alexandra Nugent in the all-around, Missy Vodvarka on the vault, Elieen Strube on the balance beam and Heidi Kick on the uneven parallel bars.

Nugent, on the vault and balance beam, Strube, in the all-around, and Kick, on the floor exercise, all qualified in last year's nationals as a freshman.

The Warriors are coming off a tie for fifth as a team in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference/ NCGA Regional competition.
