WSU 2nd At Gustavus Triangular

ST. PETER, MN -- Winona State University came up short by .25 of a point in placing second in a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference triangular held at Gustavus Adolphus.
The home team Gusties won the meet with a 176.700 total, while the Warriors were second at 176.450.
Alexandra Nugent captured the only individual event for the Warriors by winning the vault with a 9.475.
Katie Goldeman had a solid night with a second on the vault (9.330) and a second on the uneven parallel bars (9.075). Also placing second for the Warriors was Amanda Cotter with a 9.075 on the balance beam.
Jessica Hinckley rounded out the top three performances for the Warriors with a 8.900 on the balance beam, which placed her third in that event.
