WSU Edges UW-Whitewater

Amanda Cotter WINONA, MN -- It was close, but Winona State University still prevailed 181.375-181.300 in Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference competition held in Talbot Gymnasium.

Katie Gregory grabbed the lone first-place finish for the Warriors, as she posted a 9.425 in the floor exercise.

Overall Alexandra Nugent came up with three seconds -- Balance beam (9.400), Floor exercise (9.400) and the All-Around (36.375). Katie Goldeman also was second on the uneven parallel bars with a 9.050, while Melissa Baudhuin was second on the Vault (9.450) and third in the All-Around (35.475).

Adding to the WSU top three finishes was Amanda Cotter with an 8.850 on the bars.
