WSU NABC's Preseason No. 1 Pick

KANSAS CITY, MO -- The National Association of Basketball Coaches has come out with it's 2007-08 preseason poll and has ranked Winona State University No. 1.

The Warriors return four starters who were national champions in the 2005-06 season, national runnersup for the 2006-07 season and set a Division II national record 57-game winning streak over the two-year period.

Bentley, MA, which suffered its only loss last year to the Warriors in the Elite Eight, was tabbed No. 2, while Barton, NC, which defeated the Warriors at the buzzer of last year's national championship, is ranked No. 12.
