Flowers Named Player Of The Week

ST. PAUL, MN -- Jonte Flowers scored a career-high 34 points in leading Winona State University to a win over Northern State University and was named Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Player of the Week.

Besides the career high for points he recorded career highs of 13 total field goals and 8 steal in the Warriors' 87-60 win over the Wolves.

Flowers was 13-for-15 from the field in that game, 5-for-6 from three-point field goal range and added 3 assists and 1 blocked shot, as the Warriors won their 32nd consecutive NSIC game.

The Warriors did make it a weekend NSIC sweep by also beating the University of Mary. In that game Flowers scored 19 points.
