Smith Selected NSIC Player Of The Week

ST. PAUL, MN -- Winona State University's John Smith helped the No.4-ranked Warriors' conference winning streak to 37 gmes and was named Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Player of the Week.
Smith finished off the two-game week with a double-double, averaging 27 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. Smith was also 18-of-33 from the field, hit 3-of-4 three-point field goals, converted 15-of-19 from the free throw line and added six blocked shots, three assists and three steals.
In the 15-point deficit, come-from-behind, win over Minnesota Sate University Moorhead, Smith had 17 rebounds and 26 points and in the decision over Concordia University St. Paul, Smith scored 21 points in the first half and finished with 29 points.
