Warriors At No. 3

KANSAS CITY, MO -- Winona State University retained its No. 3 ranking in the latest NABC/Division II Coaches Poll.

The Warriors, 20-1, finished off the first half of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference schedule with a perfect 9-0 record after beating the University of Minnesota, Crookston and Bemidji State University. The wins extended the Warriors' season winning streak to 14 games and their NSIC winning streak to 39 games.

Winona State next will take on Northern State University and the University of Mary. The contest with Northern State will be a battle of top ten teams, as NSU will come into the game with a No. 7 ranking and a 17-1 record -- the only loss coming at the hands of the Warriors.
