Warriors Seeded No. 1 In North Central Region

INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- The NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Committee has announced the eight teams for the North Central Region Tournament and Winona State University has been selected as the No. 1 Seed.
The Warriors will host the tournament March 15-16, 18 at McCown Gymnasium.
Here is the schedule of events.
Quarterfinal Round, Saturday, March 15
Game 1 No. 7 Seed Univeristy of South Dakota Coyotes (22-6) vs. No. 2 Seed Northern State University Wolves (27-3), Noon
Game 2 No. 3 Seed Minnesota State University Mankato Mavericks (22-6) vs. No. 6 Seed Augustana College, SD Vikings (21-8), 2:30 p.m.
Game 3 No. 1 Seed Winona State University Warriors (32-1) vs. No. 8 Seed Colorado Christian University Cougars (18-12), 6:00 p.m.
Game 4 No. 4 Seed Fort Lewis College, CO Skyhawks (24-5) vs. No. 5 Seed University of Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks (24-6), 8:30 p.m.
Semifinal Round, Sunday, March 16
Game 5 Game 1 winner vs Game 2 winner, 5:00 p.m.
Game 6 Game 3 winner vs Game 4 winner, 7:30 p.m.
Championship, Tuesday, March 18
Game 7 Game 5 winner vs Game 6 winner, 7:00 p.m.
It is the third consecutive year Winona State has been the No. 1 Seed in the North Central Region and the third straight year the Warriors will host the tournament.
The winner of the tournament will advance on the the NCAA Division II Elite Eight that will be held March 26-27, 29 in Springfield, MA.
