Warriors Sweep DII Bulletion Honors

BEAVERTON, OR -- Winona State University captured all the top honors announced by Division II Bulletion.

Senior, center, John Smith was named the Player of the Year and to the First Team All-America Squad.

It was the second straight Smith received the award and completed a sweep of Player of the Year awards this season by the four organizations and publications that present the award.

Smith was also joined on the All-America squad by teammate Jonte Flowers, who received Second Team honors.

Head Coach Mike Leaf was named the Molten/Division II Bulletin Coach of the Year. It was the second time in the past three years Leaf received this award. Leaf also was named the Molten/Division II Bulletin Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Coach of the Year award.
