Smith, Flowers Named To Play In Invitational

KANSAS CITY, MO -- McCarthy Sports, Inc has announced that Winona State University's John Smith and Jonte Flowers are two of the 65 players who will compete in the Collegiate Basketball Invitational.
The invitational will be held in Wadsworth, OH April 24-26 and will consist of eight teams of eight players each in an eight-team tournament. Each team will play a total of three games, finishing with a championship game April 25. An all-star game, made up of 20 players from the 65, will also be played and it can be viewed on ESPNU on April 26.
The Collegiate Basketball Invitational is a major national basketball event that will gather 65 seniors from NCAA Division II and II and NAIA teams. The three-day event will give the players the opportunity to compete in front of the professional team representatives, agents and national media, while competing against the best from around the country.
