Toftness Named To All-Region Team

NORMAN, OK -- Winona State University's Bret Toftness has been named to the Golf Coaches Association of America/PING NCAA Division II All-Central Region Team.

Members of the PING All-Region team are eligible for PING All-America honors. Region teams are selected by GCAA regional advisory committees based on their season-long play. Any player ranked in the top 50 nationally according to the Golfstat individual rating is automatically added to his All-Region Team.

Toftness averaged 73.95 for the season. He earned All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference honors after placing second in the league championship tournament. Toftness also tied for eighth in Super Region play.
