Strangstalien Is Medalist At Bemidji

Brady Strangstalien BEMIDJI, MN -- Winona State University's Brady Strangstalien followed up a three-under-par 69 with a two-under-par 70 to capture medalist honors with a 139 total after completion of 36 holes in the Bemidji State University Invitational held at the Bemidji Town and Country Club.

Strangstalien had a two-stroke lead after shooting a three-under par 69 in the first 18 holes of play, but roared back with a 70 to win the tournament by five strokes over three players.

The Warriors finished in second place with a 597. WSU combined for a 300 total on the second day after totaling a 297 on Day One. That effort left the Warriors ten strokes behind the winning team from St. Cloud State University and two strokes ahead of teams from Bemidji State University and Minnesota State University Mankato

Other 36-hole scores for the Warriors included: 151 by Ross Wilhelm, 152 by Jeff Porter, 155 from Kevin Loeffler and 157 from Keegan Drugan.

Max Borgardt and John Kirk played as individuals and finished with respective scores of 161 and 164.
