ST. PAUL, MN -- Winona State University freshman Jeff Porter has been named Co-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Men's Golfer of the Week.

Porter tied with Bemidji State University's Neil Rude for second place in the NCAA Fall Central Region Invitational held at the Wildflower Golf Course in Detroit Lakes, MN.

Porter came up with a two-under-par 70 on the first day of the two-day, 36-hole event, and then followed up with a 74 on the second day for a 144 total.
