Warriors Sweep Honors

ST. PAUL, MN -- Behind the medalist play of sophomore Brady Strangstalien, Winona State University swept individual honors announced by the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
Strangstalien captured the medalist honors in the league championship played at the Pebble Creek Golf Course in Becker, MN. The effort helped Strangstalien successfully defend his title and also helped him to be named NSIC Golfer of the Year for the second straight year. It also marked the fifth straight year a Warrior golfer has captured the NSIC medalist honors.
Strangstalien was one of four players name to the All-Conference squad. Joining him was first-time selectees John Anderson and Jeff Porter and Kevin Loeffler was named to the All-Conference team for a second straight season.
For Loeffler it wrapped up a very successful NSIC career. Loeffler played in four league championships and placed in the top ten all four seasons, including a best ever third place this year.
Head Coach Robert Newberry wrapped up the honors for the Warriors by being named NSIC Coach of the Year for a second straight year.
