Warriors Part Of Super Region Field

NCAA Golf Logo INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- Winona State University is part of the Central/Great Lakes Super Regional according to the NCAA Division II Men's Golf Committee release.

The Warriors qualified for the meet, that will be held May 5-7 at the Red Hawk Run Golf Club in Findaly, OH, by winning the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference championship.

The super regional is made of of two regions -- Central and Great Lakes. Eight team are placed in each region, along with five individuals from each region.

WSU, which placed fourth in last year's super regional, is the No. 3 seed in the Central Region.

Brady Strangstalien and Kevin Loeffer, who each tied for 19th in last year's super regional, are the only WSU returnees to play in the regional last year.

The top team from each region, along with the top individual not on that winning team, will advance to the Division II Championships May 14-17 in Houston, TX.
