WSU Finishes 6th In Regional Meet

Brady Strangstalien FINDLAY, OH -- Winona State University moved up one spot and finished sixth on the final day of the 54-hole NCAA Division II Super Regional Tournament held at the Red Hawk Run Golf Course.

The Warriors, playing in the Central Region, finished with a 307 to go with rounds of 320 and 297 for a 924.

Brady Strangstalien carded a final 18-hole total of 76 to go with his rounds of 82 and 70 to finish in a tie for 13th in the 45-player field. Teammate Kevin Loeffler had the Warriors' low round for the day with a 75 to go with his 81 and 74 for a 230 and a tie for 20th.

Rounding out the Winona State efforts was Ross Wilhelm with a 78 (76-79-233) that tied him for 37th. Keegan Drugan came up with an 82 (81-74-237) to stand in 34th and John Anderson recorded an 86 (85-83-250) to come in 39th.
