Warriors Beat MSUM Mavericks Story by: Winona State Sports Information Office WINONA, MN -- Winona State University swept the doubles competition and went on to defeat Minnesota State University Mankato 8-1 at St. T's. Winning at No. 1 doubles was Gage Davidson and Aaron Lentz 8-1. The No. 2 win went to Zach Williams and Stuart Booth 8-1 and No. 3 doubles was captured by the pair of Tanner Bishop and Taylor Rens 8-1. WSU wins in singles play went to Davidson, 6-4, 6-1, at No. 1, Lentz, 6-1, 6-2, at No. 2, Williams in a three-set mach, 5-7, 6-3, 10-8, at No. 3, Rens, 6-1, 6-2, at No. 5 and No. 6 went to Bishop, 7-6 (10-6), 7-5.
